Mount Kenya Trust has been the official organiser of the 10to4 mountain bike challenge since 2002. Our drive to conserve and protect Mount Kenya's environment, wildlife and people has seen us host this fun-packed, exhilarating event annually; channeling all the funds generated, towards this cause, the conservation of Mount Kenya.

The Laikipia Wildlife Forum (LWF) is a membership conservation organization registered as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Our members number approximately 6000 and include schools, CFAs, WRUAs, small holders and conservancies/ranches. Our mission is to conserve Laikipia’s wildlife and ecosystem integrity and improve the lives of its people. The Laikipia Wildlife Forum is proud to-be associated with 10-4 bike challenge for the second year running as this event is in- line with LWF goal, which uses public events to focus attention on wildlife and a healthy natural environment.

 

RiftValleyAdventures

Rift Valley Adventures is an Outdoor Education and Adventure Activity Company, with headquarters in Kenya.  The company has itsown outdoor adventure centre and permanent camps in Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy and on the priphery of Ngare Ndare Forest.  RVA is an Approved Provider for the British Army Adventure Training in Kenya and the only company in East Africa providing international recognised qualifications for Mountain Bike Insstructors.  Rift Valley Adventures has 15 years experience running school expeditions across Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Sweden, Kenya, Tanzania and we have recently launched programs in Malawi and Namibia that combine adventurous journeys, service, volunteering and outdoor adventure and education.  We have hosted schools from all over the world who are undertaking their DofE Gold and Residential focusing on voluntary service at local schools and assisting with various conservation initiatives; Field Based School trips; Inter-Cultural Programs and other meaningful trips that immerse students in the local culture and environment.  RVA is the first International Training Activity Provider (ITAP) for the Duke of Ediburgh Scheme to be approved from Africa.
