Swift, adj., quick and decisive, without losing time

A brand new race for 2026, the Swift is for those who have grown out of the Slide and are ready to compete but don't have quite enough confidence for the Rush. A heady 39 km, the largely downhill route nevertheless has some technical sections to challenge participants, and takes in all the beauty of the Mount Kenya landscape.

The Swift and the Slide follow the same route, but the Swift is aimed at teenage and young at heart riders who are keen to race, while the Slide remains the category for families and those who come along for the experience rather than the competition.
