
Rose Dyer Adventure Ride

If pedaling isn't for you and you'd rather experience the mountain from a different kind of saddle, Riding Wild may be offering the Rose Dyer Adventure Ride for 2026 but this has yet to be confirmed.​

• Four hours in the saddle traversing Borana Conservancy with some wonderful wildlife encounters
• Start and finish at the Borana stables, located at the Borana Conservancy Head Quarters
• For advanced riders only, minimum age 10 years
• Riders will be mounted on home-bred thoroughbred crosses
• Minimum fundraising donation US$200 to take part, all of which will be given to the Mount Kenya Trust
• AMREF flying doctors cover is mandatory, riders will not be able to take part without providing a current membership number
• Riders must provide their own helmets, boots, chaps, water bottles, snacks and picnic lunch
• Weight limit 90 kg
